About

Calgary’s job landscape continues to change. Career Scene Investigation (CSI), an essential component of Diversecities’ World Culture Society, provides the next generation of leaders with tools and resources to imagine what their future careers may be like. This program aims to equip immigrant youth, especially those with limited access to job mentorship, with the knowledge and soft skills needed to adapt to the evolving career landscape in Calgary and Canada.

As Diversecities continues to use design thinking approach to developing empathy and experiment-driven programs, Diversecities aims to guide participating youth to learn about themselves, assess and design their career choices. They are empowered to reframe pre-existing personal notions about the job search process, combine logic and imagination to think creatively and adapt their own character and personality traits to matching jobs that suit them.
