Diversecities' Children and Youth programs provides various fun, challenging and educational activities to children and youth. We focus on socio-emotional learning, building academic skills, life skills, and developing resiliency. Youth can develop presentation skills, learn how to plan and organize an event while receiving volunteer opportunities and mentorship.

Diversecities youth club aims to help young people and newcomer youth develop confidence, leadership, and resilience. The program is for in grade 7 to 12. Attending Diversecities After School Youth Club programs can result in improved social and emotional competencies such as peer relationships, internal motivation, improved concentration efforts, and a higher sense of self-worth. Participants learn essential and practical skills that will help them adjust to adolescent life, develop a sense of responsibility, increase confidence, and feel empowered to succeed.

Our Art making workshops happens every two months for grade 1 to 12 student in after school bases. The art making play a crucial role in children and youth development of communication, language skills, creativity, and self-esteem; it provides sensory experiences and help focus attention on daily life. Artmaking boosts self-esteem and accomplishment, exposing children to exciting topics like history, geography, math, science, and technology.
It also encourages exploration and learning from challenges. Involving children and youth in art-making often allows them to explore new possibilities and experience the world in a hands-on environment. Thus, the arts are essential for children and youth growth and development.

Diversecities' Career Scene Investigation (CSI) is a program designed to help youth with language or cultural barriers explore and design their future careers. The program equips newcomer youth, particularly those with limited job mentorship, with the knowledge and soft skills needed to adapt to the dynamic career landscape in Calgary and Canada.
Diversecities uses an empathy-driven approach, guiding youth to learn about themselves and assess their career choices. CSI empower the youth to reframe personal or cultural biases about job search processes and career options by combining logic and imagination, allowing them to think creatively and match their character and personality traits with suitable jobs. The program's main deliverables are workshops and mentorship.

The program offers monthly workshops for high school youth in grades 10-12, aimed at supporting their transition and exploring school and career options. The workshops are organized at selected schools and Calgary Public Library locations, focusing on social emotional learning topics, field trips, guest speakers, and public community events. The program is designed to prepare youth for the Canadian school system and help newcomer and refugee youth explore career options.

The career scene investigation program offers mentorship to newcomer immigrant and refugee youth entering grades 7-12, providing them with information, resources, and support to make positive transitions into Canadian schools, careers, and communities. Mentors, who were once newcomers themselves, provide one-on-one support during programming and community connections activities, making it a unique aspect of the program.
