World Suicide Prevention Awareness Event

September is Suicide Prevention Month, with the actual day on September 10, 2024. You can show your support by wearing teal and purple ribbons! Since 2003, this day has been dedicated to global commitment and action. This year, let's come together to embrace the theme: "Changing the Narrative on Suicide.” Date: Sunday, September 22 Time: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM Location: Central Library, 800 3 St SE (TBC) Event Details: Kick off with a screening of Big Hero 6 at 1:00 PM! Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with booking recommended. After the movie (around 2:45 PM), enjoy a variety of fun activities including Wheel of Fortune Trivia, a Scavenger Hunt, Face/Body Painting, a Photo Booth, Arts and Crafts, and Connect 4.
